About

The ALFA logo visually represents the Air Line Furries Association, International, and its members. It is a blue circle with hemisphere lines in the upper left, a grey fox swoop starting from the lower left going to the upper right, and the letters ‘ALFA’ on the lower right.

It is perfect for use on print materials such as letterhead, posters, and pamphlets, but can also be used for stickers, pins, patches, and other items.

Usage guidelines

When using text alongside the logo, like the header on the website, we recommend the following fonts in this order: Segoe UI, Tahoma, Geneva, and Verdana. Sans-serif should be the default font used in digital media as the fallback if the other fonts do not exist. The text should be transformed to all caps, and, should it be used, the text colors should be black, white, or ALFA Blue (#4090BA) as appropriate.

The Master Executive Council logo variants, MEC, have the logo text set as a text object following two circular paths in the SVG file. This is to facilitate editing and customization of the text elements surrounding the ALFA logo for new councils and other purposes. The text-path circles remain visible in the SVGs in order to facilitate adjusting the text positions around the circle. Once the text is positioned around as you desire, you may ‘remove’ the circles by changing the fill transparency to 0.

We recommend transforming text into a path before using the logo after customizations as font information is not embedded within the SVG file.
